    NGK Resource, a resident of the Nikolaevsk Tor, cast the first gold bar in preparation for the launch of a gold mining enterprise at the Polyanka deposit in the Khabarovsk Territory. The investment project is being implemented in agreement with JSC Far East Development Corporation.

    The territories of the eight Arctic regions of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) are included in the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation. The relevant Decree “On Amendments to the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of May 2, 2014 No. 296“ On Land Territories of the Arctic Zone of the Russian Federation ”was  signed by  President of Russia Vladimir Putin.

    The resident of TOR "Chukotka" company "Beringpromugol" plans to increase coal production in the Amaama coal basin from 576 thousand tons in 2018 to 680-750 thousand tons in 2019. Also, an increase in sales from 393 thousand tons in 2018 to 650-720 thousand tons in 2019 is predicted.

  • Prototype Ms-21-300 Arrived In Zhukovsky To Continue Flight Tests

    The prototype MS-21-300, equipped with a passenger cabin, made a flight from the Ulyanovsk-Vostochny airfield to the airfield of the LII. MMGromova "Ramenskoye".

    The plane was piloted by a crew consisting of a test pilot of 1st class Vasily Sevastyanov and a Hero of Russia, honored test pilot Roman Taskaev. Flight completed without comment.

    AO Mercedes-Benz RUS, the Russian dealer of Mercedes-Benz, will recall 1,600 S-class sedans in Russia due to problems with functioning of the driver assistance package, the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology (Rosstandart) reports on Monday.

    The recall will cover automobiles sold from March 2017 to June 2018, the regulator says.

    Research and development (R&D) work to create the first Russian nuclear-powered aircraft carrier will start in 2023; it was included in the state arms program. A source in the shipbuilding industry told TASS about it on Tuesday.

    "R&D work on the new aircraft carrier was included in the operating state arms program by 2027 and will start in 2023," the source said.

    Aeroflot shares dropped 3.3% as trading opened on the Moscow Exchange on Monday to 93.5 rubles per share following the plane crash at Moscow’s Sheremetyevo airport claiming the lives of 41 people.

    On Sunday, the Sukhoi Superjet 100 passenger plane operated by Aeroflot carrying 73 passengers and five crewmembers bound for Murmansk caught fire after emergency landing at Sheremetyevo shortly after the takeoff.
