VEF retreat was held in Chita

“For the development of the entire Far East and the Trans-Baikal Territory in particular, the Ministry of Eastern Development has developed many legislative acts, preferential regimes, advanced development territories, the free port of Vladivostok, and other support measures have been created. Today, we are discussing with the business, entrepreneurs, the public of the region how the integration goes, how these regimes fall on the Trans-Baikal Territory, is it understandable and convenient? Because all this is aimed at improving the quality of life of the population of the Far East, at attracting investment, ”said Svetlana Balova, deputy general director of the Far East Agency for Investment Promotion and Export Support.  

Participants and support of small and medium business did not pass by. This year, the federal center has directed more than 1 billion rubles to the region to support local entrepreneurs. This is five times more than the funds provided in 2018.

“More funds will be allocated to one small and medium-sized business in Transbaikalia. In total, the region will receive 420 billion rubles for this business segment, ”said Denis Nevzorov, deputy director of the Investment Department of the Ministry of Eastern and Eastern Development of Russia.

According to experts, in addition to discussing the development of the region, one of the tasks of the on-site session of the WEF is preparation for the anniversary V Eastern Economic Forum, which will be held on September 4-6 in Vladivostok, where participants will discuss the development of their territory at the highest level. Recall, the organizers of the exit session were the Ministry of the Russian Federation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic, the Agency for the Far East for Investment Promotion and Export Support, the Roskongress Foundation, the Government of the Trans-Baikal Territory, the Human Development Agency for the Far East, the Far East Development Corporation and the Corporation development of the Trans-Baikal Territory.
