Indian business mission got acquainted with the work of the CPV and the coastal PDA

The Indian business mission visited the Vladivostok Commercial Sea Port (VSPP, part of the FESCO transport group) and the Nadezhdinskaya TD. The visit to Primorsky Krai is supported by the Far East Agency for Investment Promotion and Export Support (ANO API), the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and the administration of the region.

The delegation included representatives of Indian companies in the fields of gold mining, logistics, energy, diamond production, infrastructure construction, tea production and distribution, marketing and consulting services.

Representatives of the Indian delegation familiarized themselves with the VTPP's capabilities in cargo transportation and daily handling of wagons. According to the results of 2018, the cargo turnover of the ICTP increased by 39% compared to 2017 and reached the maximum values in the entire history of the Port - 10.4 million tons of cargo of various nomenclature. CPV has steadily increased the average daily processing rate of rolling stock over the past four years. Now the daily speed of processing cars is up to 527 units. There is a modernization of production facilities, which is aimed at increasing the intensity of cargo handling. In 2018, the port put into operation 2 new rail cranes ZPMC, which supplemented 4 existing ones. Next year 5 new cranes will also be installed.

Currently, India occupies the 3rd place in terms of the volume of transshipment of imported containers in the structure of the cargo traffic of the ICTP (after China and the Republic of Korea). The basis of Indian imports in the structure of freight traffic are textiles and clothing, tea, dried fruits, grapes, meat products.

Further, the delegation, accompanied by employees of the ANO API and the Corporation for the Development of the Far East (KRDS), went to the Nadezhdinskaya TDD.

This TOR was the first in Primorsky Krai. Currently, the area of the industrial site of this TOR is filled by more than 90%, it is the most popular for potential residents. Now on a multidisciplinary production and logistics site activities are carried out by 47 residents. The total investment in the framework of the signed agreements is 32.3 billion rubles. Full implementation of the announced projects will create 4,499 jobs.

“Our Agency is ready to provide investors with organizational and methodological support at all stages of project implementation: from the initial idea to the start of production and further support. We help with the development of business plans, preparation of documents, including applications for obtaining the status of residents of preferential regimes of TOR and a free port. A separate direction is the search for necessary measures of state support, attracting co-investors to the project and financial support, ”said Stanislav Varnakov, director of investment projects at ANO API”

Interaction with investors in TOR, infrastructure construction, provision of land plots for project implementation is provided by the Far East Development Corporation. At present, the KRDC synchronizes its activities with the resident schedules and schedules the timing of connecting residents to the engineering infrastructure on the Nadezhdinskaya advanced development territory so that all residents can start their businesses on time.

“We study and take control of all current and future needs of residents on the widest range of issues, including the provision of infrastructure and land,” said Aslan Kanukoev, Director General of the Far East Development Corporation. “Our task is to optimize and synchronize all the graphs, to ensure their strict implementation.”

Indian entrepreneurs visited the New De Freeze settlement, built by CSN Development. The village is designed for 1100 people, 42 townhouses, 8 duplexes, 96 cottages. On the territory of 18 hectares it is planned to build four types of residential buildings: townhouses, duplexes, single and two-story cottages. Construction of houses is carried out in a single architectural style, in accordance with all norms, which creates the architectural integrity of the village. The technology of building houses in the village is frame-panel using SIP panels. A part of the building has already been completed, the second microdistrict is currently being built. Businessmen were interested in the possibility of implementing, through the preferential treatment of TOR, housing construction projects.

The Indian guests familiarized themselves with the work of the Evroplast plant, which became the first enterprise of advanced development territories in the Far East. The plant produces PET preforms and polymer caps used in the manufacture of plastic bottles.

The company "Arnica" presented a project to create an agro-economic cluster. The agreement on the creation of the cluster was signed on the sidelines of the fourth WEF last September between Arnika LLC, ANO API and the South Korean company LS Networks. The multi-stage investment program is designed for 5 years. It includes the construction of corn storage facilities, a starch mill and Aminosintez biofactories, which will produce more than 300 thousand tons per year of high-tech import-substituting feed products.

Recall that yesterday during the visit of the business delegation, a plenary session “Opportunities, conditions and projects for Russian-Indian cooperation in the Russian Far East” was held. In addition to representatives of Indian business, about 40 maritime companies took part in the event.
