In 2020, the German company Lernidee Erlebnisraisen GmbH (Lernidee Еrlebnisreisen GmbН) with the support of the Far East Investment Promotion and Export Support Agency (ANO API) plans to launch several tourism projects in the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation. Alikhan Khashiyev, deputy general director of ANO API, told about this on the margins of the SPIEF-2019.

“The agency and our German partner, Lernidea Erlebnisraisen GmbH, are planning to work through several Arctic projects and present them at the International Arctic Forum in 2020. We are now negotiating with the leadership of the Russian regions, ”said Alikhan Khashiyev, deputy general director of the ANO API. According to him, the Far Eastern direction is being studied separately. We are talking about possible travels by rail, as well as the development of sea cruise routes.

“The Arctic is a promising tourism destination. Our guests will be able to see the white nights and the polar lights. Next year we are planning to launch two “arctic” trains. In the future, they will be more. Start the first trial was given on the eve of St. Petersburg. The route of the “arctic” train was developed from St. Petersburg to Nickel Murmansk. Next year we plan to diversify the program to make the trip even more interesting, ”said Executive Director Nurlan Mukash.

“Our company has many years of experience in creating railway tours. For example, this Transsib tours from Moscow to Beijing. There are customers who traveled several times on this train, visited various points of the world. They want new experiences. They are waiting for new routes. We offered them the Arctic direction. We came up with a tour with a trip by rail, a visit to cities with an excursion and cultural program. We see that tourists are interested and are ready to develop the Arctic tours in the future, ”commented the train's tourist director, an employee of Lernidea Erlebnisraisen GmbH Bernd Klaube.

Recall that more than 90 tourists from 7 countries went on an arctic journey from St. Petersburg. In Russian territory, the train will reach Nickel Murmansk. Next, guests will go to Norway.
