15 investors may become anchor residents of the priority development area in the Trans-Baikal Territory

The Ministry of the Russian Federation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic submitted to the Government of Russia a draft decree on the creation of a territory of priority development in the Trans-Baikal Territory. About their desire to implement projects in the TOR announced 15 investors.

The territory of advanced development can enter 24 municipal districts of the region, including Chita. Creating a TOR "Transbaikalia" will provide the region with at least 9,000 new jobs and attract more than 196 billion rubles in private investment.

Submitted applications include a project to create a large agro-industrial holding in the region, construction of a landfill and waste sorting complex with deep processing of waste and production of recycled materials, construction of a plant for modern large-panel housing construction, production of armored single-bucket front loaders with various attachments, construction and launch of the line for the production of pellets with the subsequent export of products to the countries of Southeast Asia, the creation of workshops for the release of food.

A number of investors are planning to implement mining projects. For example, Zolotaya Gora LLC lined up a project for the production of lead-zinc concentrate in the amount of 624.59 thousand tons, 812.66 thousand tons of zinc concentrate and the construction of a mining and processing plant for processing polymetallic ores. JSC Tungus Cut has submitted a project for the development of the Nikolsky field with the construction of a conveyor and treatment facilities and an increase in the production of the Nikolsky field 7.3 times by 2035. Daltsvetmet LLC is going to implement a project for the construction and output to the design production capacity of a mining processing enterprise at the Nasedkino gold deposit, including the construction of a gold mining plant with a design processing capacity of up to 1 million tons of ore and mining of up to 3 tons of gold per year.

As part of the TOR, it is also planned to build a module for the enrichment of fine-grained coal of 0-25 mm, to build a mining processing enterprise on the basis of Verkhne-Aliinsky and Munginsky gold deposits, to develop the Noyon-Tologoysky deposit of polymetallic ores and to produce lead-zinc concentrate, to organize the production of ore mining underground method on the basis of Ukoninsky field, as well as a number of other projects.

 

It should be noted that the creation of a territory of advanced development in the Trans-Baikal Territory was approved at the Subcommittee on the implementation of investment projects in the Far East of the Government Commission on the socio-economic development of the Far East and the Baikal region in March of this year.
